Roxette Busani has more than 30 years of experience in the legal, expert witness, and finance industries. Her career is marked by expertise in talent management, specialized recruitment for litigation, project leadership, change management, and cost reductions achieved through strategic contract negotiation during corporate acquisitions.
Ms. Busani most recently served as Senior Manager, Talent Success at Axiom Global, Inc., where she managed attorneys within the Finance & Capital Markets, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) groups. She connected skilled attorneys across practice areas and industries with Am Law 200 firms, Big 4 consulting firms, Fortune 500 companies, and regional law firm clients to fill in-house capacity needs, projects, specialized advice, and as secondments.
Prior to managing legal talent, Roxette served as the Lead Recruiting Consultant at IMS Consulting and Expert Services for over a decade where she recruited, evaluated, interviewed, and presented expert witnesses and consultants for complex litigation to the top 200 U.S. law firms and global corporations. She led the Financial Practice Group, which focused on litigation for investment banking, derivatives, trading, Ponzi schemes, M&A, insurance, currency trading, and various financial concerns. She recruited experts across a broad range of sectors within the financial industry as well as a multitude of industries and sectors supporting litigation matters.
She began her financial industry career at Russell/Mellon Analytical Services, transitioning across several mergers and eventually returning to Russell Investments. Ms. Busani served as a Senior Market Data Analyst and Project Manager at Russell Investments, managing and directing the centralization and risk-assessment of market data contracts globally.
She was a lead on corporate acquisition teams at Mellon and Bank of New York Mellon, consolidating and renegotiating market data contracts into a new corporate structure, combining and transferring market data contracts while achieving cost savings and eliminating duplicate services. As an Operations Project Analyst at Russell/Mellon, she implemented corporate projects, and classifying securities including the annual reconstitution of the Russell 2000 Index. She spearheaded the market data department, overseeing contract negotiation, risk compliance, and vendor relationship management.
Early in her career, Roxette served in law enforcement as a 911 Telecommunications Officer, Deputy Sheriff, and Forensics Technician. She is a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
