Constantine Gonticas Joins SEDA as a Private Equity and Investment Banking Expert
New York, NY, September 29, 2026 - SEDA Experts LLC, a leading expert witness firm providing world-class financial expert witness services, announced today that Constantine Gonticas joined the firm as Managing Director.

Constantine Gonticas brings nearly four decades of experience in investment banking, private equity, and direct investment, with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe. He has held senior roles at Blackstone, Novator Partners, Merrill Lynch, and Credit Suisse First Boston, and has extensive experience serving on the boards of listed and private companies across Europe.
Mr. Gonticas is a private equity investor through his own company, Green Square Capital. Throughout his career, he has been involved with many of the largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe, both as an investor and as an investment banker. He was among the first finance professionals to become active in Central Europe in the early 1990s.
From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Gonticas served as a Senior Advisor in Private Equity at The Blackstone Group. Previously, he was Managing Partner of Novator Partners, a private investment firm specializing in direct investment in Central and Eastern Europe. While at Novator, he sourced a number of investments in the region, including PLAY, Netia, and Forthnet. He also played a key role in the creation of PLAY, Poland’s leading mobile telephony company.
Prior to Novator, Mr. Gonticas served as Head of EEMEA Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch, with responsibility for investment banking across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Before joining Merrill Lynch, he spent 12 years at Credit Suisse First Boston in investment banking.
Mr. Gonticas has held a number of board positions across Europe, with experience in the governance and supervision of both listed and private companies. He currently serves as Chairman of DIMAND S.A., listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, and has been a Director of Millwall Holdings Plc since 2005. He previously served as Vice Chairman of PLAY, Netia, and Forthnet.
Mr. Gonticas holds a BA in Law from the University of Oxford.
