Dr. Feeney has held senior positions at several banks leading trading teams and building new products and business lines. Most recently, he has been with National Australia Bank where he ran teams across derivatives, credit and equity trading. This included building the Valuation Adjustment (XVA) and collateral pricing and trading teams.

Before joining National Australia Bank, he held senior trading and management positions at Commonwealth Bank (Head of Trading), Citibank (FX and STIR trading) as well as Macquarie Bank (derivatives). He has managed and developed trading teams across derivatives, foreign exchange, credit, commodities and equities.

Most recently, Dr. Feeney has managed his own business specializing in advisory on financial markets products and trading. He focusses on accurate pricing of trades, planning and choice of financial instruments and efficient execution of trades.

John Feeney has been an ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association) Board Member and Vice-Chairman and an AFMA (Australian Financial Markets Association) Board member.

Dr. Feeney has a PhD and BSc (Hons) from University of Sydney.
